A warm welcome and delicious cake

Super café, totally nice host, delicious iced teas and cakes! Worth a visit! Can't join the previous speaker, there are hearty dishes, for example tarte flambee.

Flammkuchen is really delicious

The coffee tastes good. Since there is only delicious cake and nothing hearty, there are only four stars.

Wonderful view from the modern furnished Burgcafé, which has retained its architectural charm. The beer garden is great too. Order Flammkuchen Thüringer Art, a beer with it. Delicious.

Great atmosphere right on the Wartburg. Nice view who it is not very foggy. Nice service of the cakes is great especially the cheese apricot cake. The egg pancake is also great 👍 great cafe. Perfect for a small caffee or cocoa at lunchtime 😊👍The food was super fast, we did not have to wait long. In addition, it is still very comfortable and the dishes are very nice.

Excessive prices, unfriendly staff, table allocation as before. Absolutely not recommended.

The food was very tasty. That has the one lady of the service (Mrs. Peuchert) but absolutely out again. She said u.a. to one of our group "that we all would be extremely unfriendly". As I read it from the other comments also it seems to be more of the service and not to all visitors. And even if somebody should actually be a bit rude (as a guest), you have to be a professional operator and NEVER tell the guest right in the face "but they are all very rude". Conclusion: DO NOT EAT HERE!

In the beer garden only self-service. No problem, but then 4 € for a 0.33 liter bottle of beer is outrageous. We left it. 2 points for the great location.

Relaxing place

Very unfriendly service. It waits a long time until the service comes, although it is empty and then you are still gekekert, because one hets the operation, because you want to deliver the order at the bar! Here you feel good!

Very friendly service, tasty cakes, hot coffee & tea, prices are very reasonable (this is a UNESCO World Heritage). Can wholeheartedly recommend.

Very nice caffé with great views and sympathetic service.

We went there on my birthday. The location in the inner courtyard of the Wartburg alone is beautiful. On the occasion of my birthday, the host made it possible for us to enjoy the cake we had ordered on the tiny balcony of the café. Thanks at this point! The cakes we ordered were super fresh and very, very tasty. I ate the pear and nut cake and my partner the Wartburg cake. Delicious! Staff very friendly. Ambience great. Excellent!

Excellent coffee and cake! Was made to feel like I was at home including a US flag at the table. Thank you for the hospitality and one day hope to return and stay.
